Advanced SAS roles
When you are certified and have led at least 3 events, you can apply to be "Leader in Training" and later "Assistant Trainee" to go deeper in your leadership journey.
Leader in Training
The Leader in Training role is an opportunity to participate alongside an SAS leadership team and explore your leadership while getting support, inspiration and reflection. It’s a chance to discover your learning edges, get support on these from the team, while also stepping further into a leadership role. Includes 4 coaching sessions.
Our expectations of you
You’re not expected to be held accountable to the same level as the leadership team and you’re encouraged to really dive into the SAS and get the most from the training as a participant, as well as exploring your leadership skills and edges.

Surrendered LeadershipÂ
As a “Leader in Training” you get to practice Surrendered Leadership during the SAS weekends and will also get feedback on your leadership of a surrendered leadership circle.

Extra Support
You will define your learning edges and wishes for the “Leader in Training” programme on the training days before each SAS weekend and will receive 4 coaching sessions with the course lead during the programme. You'll also be invited to all team meetings.

Focus on Giving Feedback
During the SAS weekends, you can participate in giving feedback on birthday circles and be part of the certification circles. Instead of having regular buddy calls, you will get to practice giving feedback.Â
Assistant Trainee
The “Assistant Trainee” role is the next step after the leader in training role and is for experienced leaders who want to go further. It's designed to develop leadership capacities connected to what it is to be in the leadership team for an SAS or similar. It is a role you need to apply for. Includes one coaching session.

Practicing Certifications
