The 3 Dimensions of Movement

Every action we take involves movement of some kind. Whether we're speaking, writing, building or loving, there are distinct dimensions of movement which we use and have access to. I call these Capacity (It), Sensitivity (I), and Expression (We).

In this workshop, we will explore how the dimensions of Capacity, Sensitivity and Expression relate to unlocking your full Being through practices in each of those dimensions.

Bjarte Hiley is an experienced facilitator, mentor and martial artist. He spent three years on the Wudang Mountains in China, delving into Daoist contemplative practices and internal martial arts. He is an expert at transforming peoples relationships to themself through movement. He's the founder of Daomove, a method he developed to invite people into a deeper contact with their embodied experience, and let themselves be moved into bold action from that place.

Effortlessness in Perspective Meditation

What is right here, right now when there is no problem to solve? By combining Andrew Venezia's insights into effortlessness with a meditation practice rooted in Dzogchen we are going to practice a panoramic perspective meditation to rest effortlessly in awareness.

Born in 1974, Björn has an extensive background in science, BDSM, tantra, bodywork, relationship therapy and martial arts. He walks the path less trodden. Morning Sadhana - Energy & Movement

In this session, I'll share with you an example of what my morning Sadhana can look like. Through gentle movement and breathing exercises, we will awake our senses, move the energy and take care of our body and soul.

Her vow to Life is to bring more peace, love and joy in the hearts of those that cross her path. Through the exploration of ancient yogic teachings, she discovered powerful tools and guidance that helped her reconnect with her soul desires. This journey inspired her to become an Hatha Yoga teacher, sharing her passion for movement with presence and deep listening to the needs of the body and soul. She's in love with music and sounds, and is exploring vocal freedom and harmonization. She's creating spaces for people to come together, play, move freely, exchange thoughts and feelings, honor silence, explore touch, and ultimately be in their authentic selves.

Surrendered Leadership as God, Guru & Self

Through perspective-shifting practices, we explore how the form and formlessness of surrendered leadership mirror the Self like a Guru. How is a surrendered leadership circle like a momentary expression of God? This workshop aims to help anyone who wants to find deeper fulfilment in surrendered leadership, the practice, and life.

Reclaiming your Shadows of Sexuality

What do you secretly desire, but find difficult to reveal? Which difficult parts of you are buried under shame, guilt and/or self judgment? What are your dark sexual fantasies? How would it be for you to bring and be all of you?

This (clothes on) workshop gives you the space to explore the sides of you which are residing in the shadows of your being. They want to see the light, and if they do, you might find what you’re looking for!

Alongside cooking for the people at the festival, Dirk will facilitate a workshop titled "Reclaiming the Shadows of Sexuality." With a background in body-psychotherapy and a deep personal journey through sexuality, relationships, and intimacy, Dirk creates a space for participants to explore and heal the hidden aspects of their sexual energy. Through body-oriented therapy, breathwork, and deep self-inquiry, he helps individuals reclaim their sexual vitality and creative power.

Surrender into Wordless Embodiment

What happens when we meet without language, and allow our bodies to move us into connection? Nobody knows beforehand, and we will stay without knowing and allow what arises to arise, and what moves to move, and play with wordless ways of negotiating boundaries. 

This is an invitation for all of us to open up to each other with wonder and embodiment, and to try out ways of relating that I hope will infuse the rest of our time together with vulnerability, trust and intimacy.

Einar is a bodyworker, embodiment coach, and circling facilitator. He is a senior leader with Transformational Connection, and bridges analytical nuance with a warm depth of relational kindness and care. 

Einar shares some history with TC, having been shaped by Buddhist practice and psychedelic experiences, so circling was a natural fit when he stumbled upon it. It has quickly become his main spiritual practice, though he also meditates and attends silent retreats now and then.

TC, and especially SL, is a continuation of his path towards an equanimous mind with space for the unfoldment of life in its wondrous vulnerability, complexity and intensity. No clinging! Not even to not-clinging.

Einar lives with his girlfriend in Stockholm, and works with clients looking for deeper embodiment and self-discovery through body therapy, coaching and TC.

The Singing Field

Emma van den Boogert

I’d love to invite you into the Singing Field; a singing circle in which you can express yourself through voice and connect more deeply to yourself, the collective and Source. 

We warm up with different voice liberation exercises. After which we will open the circle. We sing mantras and community medicine songs from a variety of traditions. Between the songs, we have a moment of silence to sit in the echoes of the mantras. We keep words to a minimum to stay connected to a different way of expressing, and a deeper Stillness from which sound is emerging. 

You can sing, hum, dance, or simply lie down and receive the mantras. Surrendered singing. To celebrate, to mourn, to sound, to be still. Sometimes raw, loud and messy; sometimes gentle and loving. 

A special welcome to those of you who usually don't sing. This experience is more about expressing freely and feeling connected, whatever that sounds like.  

The Singing Field is more than a singing circle,  it's a space where we attune to what's already present, and give voice to what wants to emerge. It is part of my deeper inquiry: What unlocks in us and between us when we open to life from this place?

Emma is a group facilitator, purpose coach, and community builder with a deep passion for creating sourced and resourced spaces in which people can connect to the deeper intelligence that’s here. Her work is rooted in the question: What unlocks for human beings and humanity when we shift to a resource based consciousness, one attuned to the fullness already here, tuning into the potential future of the world we all know is possible?

Her work is about emerging and embodying new ways of being, creating practices, frameworks and systems sourced from this field of presence. She has a background in Non-Violent Communication, different we-space practices, parts work, bodywork, music and community building. She’s currently working as a career coach, facilitating singing circles, and starting different projects in the field where collective emergence meets societal and planetary impact.

A couple years ago she lived in a community and a friend invited her to join a mantra circle and play. She completely fell in love, and started facilitating singing circles and recently created The Singing Field.

Surrendered Voice Openings

Meeting in silence, embracing the silence, loving the silence. Feeling ourselves, feeling each other. Breathing together. Opening our voices together. Moving from low to high intensity, from structure to improvisation. Riding the waves of breath, sound, silence, movement and stillness. Expanding our hearts along the way. I have been on a transformational journey for some eight years. What I love most about it: the impossibility to tell where I will be - spiritually and mentally - in a year from now. A sense of adventure. And I have a pretty solid sense of direction, feeling more and more clearly that I am most nourished at the intersection of my shamanic practice and the transformational connection practice. I spent the last two months moving smoothly between the two worlds: meeting my Peruvian maestros in the Belgian woods, diving into surrendered leadership in Sweden, practicing with my Colombian maestros high up in Los Andes. And I am keen to bring all this experience to the festival and see how it transmutes and what emerges out of it. I am curious to feel the impact on others and I am impatient to be impacted by others, by the collective intelligence - and the love - of the festival community.

Georgie Nightingall is captivated by what makes conversation feel alive and transformational —those moments of creativity, depth, and playfulness where we touch into what’s real in our experience, and create something new between us. Journeying through Voice: a mainline to radical free expression

In this workshop, we hold the vision that ‘musicality’ is inherent to us all, regardless of how musical or not we may judge ourselves to be. You will be guided into discovering your natural voice and from there, in letting go of the need for words and sense making, be invited on a radical journey of self expression.

Through spontaneous vocalisation we discover a mainline to our emotional world, as well as connection with pre-verbal instinctual energies, offering a wide scope of expression from the exquisitely tender, through the sensual, to the wild and furious.

Whilst the exchange of words requires us to take turns in speaking and listening, here, without the need for conceptual language, our vocalising and listening can be simultaneous, involving any amount of people, offering the very real possibility of literally resonating and harmonising with one another in the moment.

Contemplative Dance Practice (CDP)

Contemplative Dance Practice (CDP) is a form for personal and group awareness of body/mind through meditation and dance/movement. Together, we create time and space to explore what we already know. Movement, stillness and sensation cultivate kinesthetic delight and attune us to subtle offerings of the moment. The practice fosters confidence to explore beyond who we think we are.

I come alive exploring the frontiers of new and creative forms of relating - stealth front porch decorating, mentor relationships, no language party, the grand gesture, blind walks, improvisational dance festival. My roles include psychotherapist, financial consultant, writer, dancer improvisor, Feldenkrais practitioner and longtime hunter of treasure. Slow-Skillful Touch & Basics of TC

Less is more. This workshop is fully hands-on, in pairs. I will guide different ways of touch. We will go slow, allowing the giver to enter a flow where giving naturally dissolves into receiving. We’ll be present in deep silence and relaxation. In these depths, the basic skills of TC work especially well. Embodied words can help clarify and make more truthful what is being experienced by the one receiving the touch.

Family Run

All levels welcome. Join me for a beautiful 3.5 km run, with a short warm-up and cool-down.  The goal is to start and finish together as a group. If faster runners want to pick up the pace, they can turn around halfway and rejoin the group toward the end. Children are very welcome to join for the start! If you're running with a young child, they can participate in a shorter section of the run — one parent can then return at their own pace.

Desire-Based Touch Playground

In this "playground", we create a space whereby we share our desires and boundaries of how we want to touch or want to be touched. Can you bring your desire for a rub, a massage, a caress, being held? Co-create with asking and using intuition, being sensitive and sensual. Being explicit about your experience/impact/desires/boundaries is highly invited.

How to be Angry with God

We want life to make sense, for it to be beautiful and meaningful. What if it doesn’t? What is there when we experience distrust in life, when prayers go unanswered or faiths get interrupted? 



This will be an embodied exploration of our relationship to God and life in times of challenge. There might be anger, there might be grief, there might be rage. By surrendering to these feelings we might see that our connection to God or life will deepen and become more true; as a child’s anger towards their parents it can create a deeper intimacy and become a doorway to more trust and wholeness.

The Subtle Pelvis

The pelvic bowl holds not only our roots but also the base of a series of diaphragms, intelligent and dynamic tissues that shape our breath, movement, and energy flow. When these diaphragms communicate, the body becomes an instrument of resonance and aliveness.

In this session, we will attune to the subtle intelligence of the pelvis, exploring the bones, the deeper and more superficial layers of muscle, and the pelvic diaphragm in relation to the other diaphragms of the body. Through gentle movement, breath, touch and awareness, we will open pathways for presence, vitality, and deep embodiment.

How can we approach our own and others’ experiences of shame and innocence with more spaciousness, curiosity, and connection to our shared humanity?

Can reconnecting with our innate freedom and playfulness support us in meeting our impulses and longings with permission and tenderness?

In this session, we will begin to touch these questions through movement, touch, guided inquiry, and relational exploration. Emerging Radiance: Exploring Limits, Claiming Space, and Igniting Power

In this workshop, we will dive into some of the territory of harnessing and building capacity and skill in our sympathetic activation and fight response. 

We’ll begin exploring these responses in their different expressions and purposes, from the subtle to the more expressive. This includes the realms of desire and going for what we want, the spark of aliveness, irritation, setting limits, our clear and embodied “fuck no,” … and back again.

We will be exploring the role of reclaiming these responses in regulation, true autonomy and access to creative fire.

Working with the body, awareness, touch and connection we’ll be supporting ourselves and each other to connect deeper to embodied clarity and to our own unique power.

Surrendered Connection Games

Connection Games were created in 2016 in the spirit of structured play, clear context, “build your own adventure” vibes, mild-medium-spicy variety and choice / consent. We started by adopting and adapting existing practices like birthday circles, T-group, hot seat, council, fly-on-the-wall and even “Circle of Chiefs”—our version of Surrendered Leadership. We then created our own games: Wild Card, dark reflections, the dating game, IPRs, Juicy Philosophical Conversations, and more.

At last year’s TCF, Mihai and Nick’s new collaborative friendship kicked off an integration of structure and surrender. A few of us have been growing this SCG practice, which combines the deep, self-aware truth of Surrendered Leadership with the playful intentionality of Connection Games.

We invite you into an emergent space of surrender, structure, and spontaneity—where games are played to express the truth of the moment. Where aliveness guides us, and where reverence spars with irreverence. Come join us!

In 2017, I started Connection Games, where small groups build their own adventure from a curated menu of playful, potent, mild-medium-or-spicy practices. I am now co-creating One Connected Life, an emergent modality which starts with CG and adds surrender, integrity, and shared magic, on the road to... well, who knows where?!

Blues Fusion Partner Dance

Blues fusion dancing is accessible and forgiving. It holds "play" as the basic step, frowns on counting steps and favors musicality, connection and co-creativity.

A good close embrace can leave lots of room for dynamic, energetic dancing. We will learn the rules of close embrace blues/fusion and how to use that embrace to lead and follow an interesting dance. Because we must “connect to self” before “connect to other” is even an option, we will start with some posture, balance, and relaxation tips. We will then learn how to get into, and also reestablish the embrace.

You will spend much more time dancing in Mihai's classes than listening. He introduces innovative exercises that help students find quality movement and connection. Then, he uses a few specific, well-chosen words (crafted over twenty years of teaching experience) to help students contextualize and remember that feeling. Mihai believes the primary job of a (dance) teacher is to inspire students to seek their next lesson.

Bringing our lives into the practice, and the practice into our lives

In TC we often have these powerful experiences, enlivening, enriching, enchanted. At this festival there’s space to explore these experiences, and to discover what's true for us in connection. And access to the safety we need for that.

In the real world there's often much less safety. Contexts where there isn't buy-in for these practices, and much more complexity. It might not be so helpful (or appropriate!) to “reveal our experience” in a business meeting. There’s not always a clear way to bridge this “context gap” between the safe spaces of exploration here, and our daily lives.

This workshop will be an exploration of how to create this bridge. To get connected to what we need in a broad sense, bringing the inquiry of what does it take to have this work really integrate? Both bringing more of our lives into these practices, and finding ways to compassionately create the context for others to meet us in our needs, and receive us in the way we long for.

Tanka has a background in intense problem-solving fields like chess, poker, and software engineering. Along the way, his body and soul were neglected, which led him to the path of self-discovery about 10 years ago.

Since then, he has explored yoga, mindfulness, climbing, partner dance, shamanic and psychedelic arts

His soul eventually found his home in the practice of Transformational Connection and he decided to quit his job to fully commit to spreading the message of Wholeness and Self Love.

Tanka now lives with his family in the Bulgarian mountains and takes daily plunges in the nearby cold river.

Nick is a technologist and educator who is fascinated by the relational. In a past life, he was a software engineer in the London startup scene. In recent years, he's been on quite the quest of self discovery, returning home himself through the practice of Surrendered Leadership. He also has a unique personal practice where he uses a camera to cultivate states of creativity and potential.

His gifts are in his presence, his embodiment and life force connection, and his capacity for love: to have you feel seen and met deeply where you are. A close friend describes him as "My second favourite psychedelic". 

When he's not travelling for retreats or visiting friends in Europe, you'll find him at home in Lancaster, in the North West of England.

Peter Shub is an award-winning American clown and physical performer, teacher and director. He has worked with leading international organizations including Cirque du Soleil, Circus Roncalli, Flic Flac, and Circus Knie, and appeared in theatre, television, and film across Europe, including a role in the play Amadeus, in Paris, directed by Roman Polanski.

Peter recently failed his motorcycle license test 3 times

and never recovered completely and that's ok.

What excites me about this is bringing the potential of the Surrendered Leadership practice with a group of men. My relationship with other men is complex and has evolved over the years. I particularly value my male friendships, eventually allowing myself to feel soft and held by them. Over the years I’ve taken part in — and led — many forms of 'men’s work' and men’s groups. Discover Aware Parenting’s core: attachment-based connection, non-punitive discipline, and healing of stress and trauma. In this workshop, we’ll inquire into what truly can happen when we meet another. Our initial response - sympathy or antipathy, attraction or aversion, often reflects past experiences or karmic residue. Can we recognise these reactions without being ruled by them? Can we meet the other not through the filter of our history, but from a clear presence?

Many layers are at play in a human meeting.

Through silent eye contact and deep listening, we’ll explore into noticing and honouring what arises in us while making space for a fresh, soul-to-soul encounter, one that reveals the spiritual essence of the true self.

For the past 30 years, I've been learning and practising through a wide range of paths - including yoga, Buddhism, non-duality, various forms of communication practices, Anthroposophy, and Interpersonal Neurobiology.

Theresa has dedicated her life to creating art, teaching transformational connection and having an everlasting passion for human development. Most recently she has rediscovered a deep love — for complete nonsense and play.

Lately, what is most important to Isabelle is emptying and unravelling into God, into the natural state, into the holy bliss unmoving that underlies all experience. 

I work as a University Lecturer and a registered Psychotherapist in private practice (gestaltpsychotherapy.com.au). I have graduate training in Law and Psychology from Harvard University and the University of Oxford, and specialist training in Gestalt Psychotherapy.

I have a ravenous love of meditation and have spent around 300 days on intensive silent retreat, primarily in Buddhist traditions.

Thomas Radtke began his studies in relational technologies with Non-Violent Communication and ‘T’ group in Boulder, Colorado in 2015. In this workshop, I will offer some practices to drop more into the heart — to enter a space of heart-based awareness and presence. We will explore what shifts when we meet each other, and ourselves, from there. What changes in our leadership when we lead from the heart?

This is an invitation to become more aware of the heart within the practice of Transformational Connection. What becomes possible when we are open? What do we notice when we feel closed off? And how can we be with whatever is here?

At some point, you may meet the apparent contradiction between intention and surrender. How do we lead with a clear intention while staying surrendered to what is? Can both live in us at once? We explore how awareness of choice, even in subtle moments, can shift our experience — not toward a goal, but toward deeper connection.

Winde Rienstra is a compassionate guide and facilitator dedicated to the art of human connection. Since discovering Transformational Connection in 2020, she has embraced the practice fully—holding space with warmth, playfulness, and deep presence.

Winde facilitates workshops, leads weekly gatherings in Amsterdam, and supports the six-month Transformational Connection training program as an assistant leader. As an empath and energy healer, she offers energetic reading and healing sessions alongside her coaching practice, guiding others to access emotional clarity and personal transformation.

Her presence is a unique blend of wild curiosity, gentle kindness, and cheeky playfulness.
